In this episode, Ella (she/they) and Fifi (she/them) discussed how people with ADHD can better respond to interpersonal conflicts and participate in community work.

Have you ever felt you are not “queer enough”? In this episode, our hosts discussed the “not queer enough” experiences in our past, including hiding queer identities, dull fashion choices, modest economic upbringings, and biases towards other queer people. We reflected the socially constructed “queer” image, and the normative expectation placed upon queer individuals. Finally, we shared our way of making peace with our whole selves that may not be “queer enough”.

本期由Charlotte (she/they), Kei (they/she), Ella (she/they), 小蜥蜴 (he/they)共同制作

Instagram Mastodon Ko-fi

其它事宜请至 / Correspondence to：podcast@50w.us

【Music credits】

Intro: Mini Synthwave by Zalcone

Other music: Blue Dot Sessions

We answered listener questions and unpacked some of the most common misunderstandings and overlooked issues about queer identities. Topics include: “Who’s the ‘man’ in a lesbian relationship?”, “Why do trans women and cis women sometimes have different ideas about femininity?”, “Where’s the line between gender non-conforming and non-binary?”, and “How to cope when your non-binary identity is questioned and how to find a truly safe community.” Happy Pride Month — we hope this conversation brings you a bit of support and courage!

【时间轴 Timeline】

00:40 Happy Pride!

Instagram Mastodon Ko-fi

其它事宜请至 / Correspondence to：podcast@50w.us

【Music credits】

Intro: Mini Synthwave by Zalcone

Other music: Blue Dot Sessions

Happy pride! In this episode, Kei(they/them) and Fennel(she/her) talked about inclusive language after collecting messages from our listeners.

The scene of Chinese-language queer feminist comedy has been growing quickly overseas. In this episode, 3 performers (guest MaoXian(she/her), hosts Kei(they/them), and Fennel(she/her)) from different open mic events chatted about their experience performing comedy and participating in the community behind these events. Laughter brings us empowerment, but it's not the panacea for our trauma resulting from structural inequalities.

Unicome

The Comedy Book

Hannah Gadsby: Nanette

Instagram Mastodon Ko-fi

其它事宜请至 / Correspondence to：podcast@50w.us

【Music credits】

Intro: Mini Synthwave by Zalcone

Other music: Blue Dot Sessions
